Posted March 29, 2016. Hey guys, so I have the 16' 500 exc and have 86 hrs (2600 mi) on it. Just wondering how long people are going before top end and bottom end rebuilds. I feel that the KTM 's service intervals are short. Have seen some posts of older 525's going 200, 300, 400+ hrs with no problems.

When you compare the ktm 500exc with the crf or Wr I think you are talking about the same wear down on chassis parts if you commuted with them daily.
